Terms & Conditions

Terms and conditions for PDU CAT business account holders.

Minimum Order

A $5.00 handling charge will apply for all orders less than $20.00.

Pricing & Shipping Point

PDU CAT reserves the right to change prices without notice. All prices are FOB PDU CAT warehouse. No discounts allowed.

Business Application & Credit Terms

New accounts must fill out a business application with all required information and provide an approved major credit card. Once approved to purchase from PDU CAT, customers may place orders which will be billed to the card on file. After 90 days of history, firms desiring an open account may apply for those terms. Please allow up to 30 Days for credit approval. A service charge of 1.5% per month may be charged for any invoices not paid within established terms, in addition to reasonable attorney's and/or collection fees in the case of default in payment. A $50.00 fee will be charged for all returned checks.

Credit Cards

Payments is due at the time of order. Payments made by credit card after the date of invoice will be accepted for a 2% convenience fee.

International Orders

International orders may be paid in advance or by Irrevocable Letter of Credit containing the words "FOB Memphis, TN, USA", "NVOCC Bills of Lading acceptable" and "All Banking Charges are for Buyers' (Applicant's) Account". Please contact our Memphis office for additional terms and requirements.

Add-on Orders

Your order is processed as rapidly as possible after receipt; therefore, add-on items will require the creation of a new order subject to order minimums and prices according to quantities ordered.

Backorders

All backorders will be shipped as merchandise is available unless previously canceled by customer.

Shipping Fees

Lift-gate, COD, and rural / residential delivery fees will be at customer expense.

Drop Shipments

Each order shipped to one address and billed to another will be priced according to the unit quantities contained in each shipment. A $5.00 fee will be charged for each drop ship location.

Double Boxing

A $2.00 fee will be charged for all boxes when double boxing is requested.

Split Shipments

Orders which request multiple shipments or carriers will be priced as multiple orders; each according to the unit quantities contained in each shipment.

Free Freight

Each shipment of components totaling $249 or more, exclusive of transportation charges, will be shipped FREE by a carrier of our choice to a commercial address in the 48 contiguous states. Lift-gate, COD, and rural / residential delivery fees will be at customer expense. This Free Freight policy includes backorders. This policy does not apply to any foreign shipments or shipments in compliance with customer requests for method or carrier. All merchandise is shipped FOB PDU CAT warehouse.

Insurance

All packages shipped via UPS are automatically covered for up to $100.00. Customer must advise at the time of order if additional insurance is required. The insurance fee will be paid by the customer.

Marble

PDU CAT is not liable for damage when marble is sent by any method other than truck or will call.

Warranty

PDU CAT offers only a LIMITED WARRANTY on products it manufactures (no other warranties are made, nor are any warranties made with respect to products offered for sale but not manufactured by PDU CAT) and places LIMITATIONS ON LIABILITY with respect to all of the products it sells. Adjustments & Returns

Written authorization for return of merchandise must be obtained prior to our acceptance. Returns for credit or exchange are subject to a 20% restocking charge. Returns must be made within 30 days after receipt of merchandise. Any exceptions to this policy will be subject to an additional restocking fee of 10% per extra month. All returns must be in salable condition and in original packaging. Custom products are non-returnable.

Claims & Damage

PDU CAT is not responsible for damage suffered in transit or in storage. Before accepting goods from carrier examine the shipment carefully. It is your responsibility to have the freight bill marked, noting any physical damage or shortage. Without this evidence, it is impossible to file a damage or shortage claim with the carrier. Claims for damage or shortage by common carrier must be filed within five (5) days of delivery. No deductions from remittance are allowed unless permission is granted by PDU CAT.
